Face & Eye Protection at SplatterPark
Face & Eye protection must be impact rated, and must meet or exceed ANSI Z87.1. Protection must also be full seal, with a foam or rubber gasket sealing in the eyes. Protection must have name branding located on the goggle, such as JT, Empire, Dye, HK Army, Valken, Lancer Tactical, etc.. Below is a list of examples, but not limited to, unapproved face protection. YOU must have your face protection approved by a SplatterPark staff member before entering the playing or target area. Your safety depends on it.
Avoid buying your face and eye protection from Amazon, Temu, AliBaba, etc.. You should only buy from Reputable Paintball and Airsoft dealers, like Paintball Ohio, Airsoft Alpha, or Paintball Discounters. While Amazon does offer protection made by paintball and airsoft companies, there are still a lot of cheap clones for only a quarter of the price. Don't cheap out on safety gear!
We recommend for occasional rec players, to invest in a JT Spectra ProShield, Empire E-Vent, or the CRBN OPR. These masks cost only around $50 to $60 on average, and are sold with thermal anti-fog lenses. Remember, a paintball mask can still be used to play airsoft!
If you show up to SplatterPark, and your protection does not meet our standards, we will be more than willing to let you use a rental mask for the day. We rent out Dye SE masks, and we also have anti-fog paintball and airsoft masks for sale.

Remember, these are only the most common examples. It will be up to the SplatterPark staff to determine whether or not your face protection is safe to use. Just because your mask is not on the list, does not mean it passes our qualifications.
