If you show up in civilian clothes you will be used to balance teams. If you have friends showing up and you wish to play with your friends you are strongly encouraged to wear appropriate colored clothing.
· Green Team – Woodland, Marpat, Tiger Stripe, Olive Drab, Black, Solid Green, Flecktarn, any other type of dark camouflage pattern.

SAFETY
· Minimum age to participate in Operation: Danger Close is 14 years old.
· Eye/face protection must be worn at all times while on the field of play. The only exception is if you are in a designated safe area.
· For participants 17 years of age and younger, full seal ANSI z87.1 rated or better goggles with rigid full face protection (ear to ear chin to forehead) is mandatory. If your equipment does not meet these requirements approved goggle systems are available for rental or purchase.
· For participants ages 18 and up, full seal ANSI z87.1 rated or better eye protection is mandatory. Face protection must cover nose mouth and ears and can consist of balaclavas, shemaghs, mesh face shields, rigid face shields or similar items. NO exposed noses, mouths, or ears! If your equipment does not meet these requirements approved equipment is available for purchase.
· Absolutely no firing in the staging, neutral or parking areas! All test firing, teching, and chronoing are to be done in the designated chrono range. “My magazine isn’t in” is not an excuse.
· Barrel covers must be used when in the staging neutral or parking areas. If you do not have one you can purchase one. Barrel covers must be used when entering the on field safe zones. Pistols must remain holstered at all times while in staging, neutral, or parking areas.
· No Blind Firing.
· Dead rags must be carried by all participants in addition to a red strobe, or chem. light to act as a dead rag during nighttime portion of the event.
· All participants must have a tac light, flash light or some other light source on their person for safety during the nighttime portion of the event.
· During nighttime portions of the event all players are restricted to semi-auto only. (short controlled bursts for support class)
· Drugs and alcohol are not permitted. Anyone who shows up under the influence will be asked to leave and not allowed to participate.
· Good sportsmanship is expected of all players. Physical or verbal harassment of teammates or opponents will not be tolerated. No physical contact.
· Do not shoot at lights, signs, camera drones or other park fixtures in an attempt to vandalize them. Players suspected of vandalism will be dismissed without refund.
· Thunder B and Tornado grenades are approved for use at Splatterpark.
· Pyrotechnics, fireworks, smoke bombs, home made smoke devices, home made airsoft grenades. Any device with an open flame and trip wires are not permitted to be used.
Hits, Bleed out, Healing, and Spawning
· Play with honor and call your hits.
· You are considered hit if you are struck by a bb fired from an airsoftreplica, or an airsoft grenade device. Friendly fire counts as hits. Ricochets, and gun hits do not count as hits.
· Once you are hit you need to stay in place and produce a red rag or strobe indicating that you have been hit. Call for a teammate to heal you and begin the bleed out countdown. Bleed out time is 3 minutes.
· If a teammate is unable to heal you within 3 minutes you have died and need to head back to your teams respawn point.
· There will be no assigned medics. Any player will be able to heal a wounded teammate.
· Each player will be issued an armband to be used as an indicator that you have been healed. Do not lose your armband!
· To heal a player you must have both hands on that player for 30 seconds. Once the 30 seconds have expired ask the player for their armband and place it on their arm to indicate that they have been healed.
· Once you have been healed you are able to return to action. If you have been healed and take a 2nd hit you are to head to a respawn point. You cannot be healed more than once between respawns. Take your armband off and keep it with you for the next time you need it.
· Players joining a mission that has already begun will need to spawn in from their teams appropriate spawn point. They are not to walk into the area of operations and deploy in any given spot. This creates confusion and is unfair to other players.
Minimum Engagement Distances (MEDs)
Please make sure you are familiar with your MEDs before you begin play. If you are unsure ask a staff member to explain this to you. These limits will be strictly enforced. Failure to adhere to these limits will result in your expulsion from the event without refund.
· Participants ages 17 and under are restricted to a maximum muzzle velocity of 400 feet per second (fps) with a .20g bb.
· Participants ages 18 and older are restricted to a maximum muzzle velocity of 500 fps with a .20g bb. Participants using equipment that is shooting over 400 fps are restricted to semi-auto only.
· During the nighttime portion of the game all players will be restricted to semi-auto only. Support class weapons will be restricted to short controlled bursts. Again, this rule will be strictly enforced.
· Pistols shooting 350 fps and lower have a MED of 15 feet.
· AEG/GBB shooting 400 fps and below have a MED of 25 feet. (green tape around barrel)
· AEGs/GBBs shooting 401 – 450 have a MED of 50 feet. Ages 18 and up only. (yellow tape around barrel)
· AEGs/GBBs shooting 451 – 500 have a MED of 75 feet. Ages 18 and up only. (red tape around barrel)
Bang Bang / Parlay
· You are never to shoot players within your MEDs.
· In these situations players are to verbally say “Bang Bang” or “Parlay”.
· You are not able to “bang bang” more than 2 consecutive players.
· In order to eliminate an opponent with a “bang bang” rather than parlay, you must be in full control of the situation.
The following are examples of the correct way to use the bang bang / parlay rules.
1. You come around a corner and find an opponent with their back to you 5 feet away. Your opponent is unaware that you are there. You are in complete control of the situation. Say “bang bang” and let the opponent know that they have been “hit”. Good sportsmanship is expected of all participants. If you are eliminated by a legit “bang bang” be respectful that the player was considerate enough not to shoot you within their MEDs and start your bleed out process.
2. You come around a corner and see an opponent 7 feet away who sees you and is turning to engage you. You are not in full control of the situation. Say “bang bang or parlay” (no matter what you say this situation is a parlay) in this situation both players should consider themselves to be hit and should start the bleed out process.
3. You enter a shipping container with multiple opponents 10-15 feet away who all have their back to you and do not see you. You are in full control of the situation. Call out “bang bang” twice. You eliminate the first opponent and parlay with the second. Both opponents and you are considered hit and should start the bleed out process.
4. You enter a shipping container face to face with multiple opponents. You are not in full control of the situation. You call out “parlay or bang bang” (again it doesn’t matter what you say this situation is a parlay) you and the closest player are both considered hit and begin the bleed out process.
